Annals of the University of Craiova, Series: Philology, English (ISSN 2668-1803, ISSN-L 1454-4415) is an open access journal on English studies (literature, linguistics and cultural policies) published in English and peer-reviewed by experts who work in the same field. The journal made its start in 2000 and two issues are published annually.
AIM AND SCOPE
The journal has published articles on Linguistic, Literary, Cultural and Translation studies authored by academics and researchers in Romania and abroad. Papers in the fields mentioned above are directly submitted to the editorial board: ucv.philology.english@gmail.com.
The selection process is run by a Scientific Committee made of international prestigious field-related specialists. The publication of selected papers is free of charge.
PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Each contribution submitted to our journal shall only be accepted for publication based on analysis and acceptance by two reviewers who are not affiliated with the University of Craiova (from Romania or abroad), with expertise in literary, linguistic and cultural studies. The authors are notified by the editorial secretary, in case any changes (content/format) were required.

Annals of the University of Craiova, Series Philology – English invites authors to submit contributions in English via e-mail in an attached file: ucv.philology.english@gmail.com
To be accepted for publication, the submissions must be original and not previously published.
No more than two thirds of the authors published in the journal are from the same institution.
The following should be included:
- title of the contribution in English and in Romanian
- 100-200 word abstract
- a list of 5 key words
- the author’s name and surname
- institutional affiliation
- the author’s biography (100 words)
- e-mail address, postal address
Deadline: June 30th every year
COPYRIGHT POLICY
Contributors are fully responsible for the originality of their papers and for the accuracy of their notes. Following the selection process, contributors will be asked to sign an exclusive license agreement, to preserve copyright but license exclusive rights in their article to the publisher.
