The Faculty of Letters through The Department of Anglo-American and German Studies, has launched its project “HIGHSCHOOL REACH-OUT” at “Henri Coanda” Highschool in Craiova.
The visit has coincided with the “Special Week” programme organized by the local highschool. The presentation of the educational offer of the Faculty of Letters was followed by a dialogue with BA and MA students of the faculty, which gave highschool students the opportunity to find out specific aspects of academic life.
Prof. Richard St. Peter, the Fulbright scholar and American lecturer with the Department of Anglo-American and German Studies, has also given a talk about academic programmes and students’ project at the Faculty of Letters. This was followed by an open debate aimed at (re)acquainting the students with contemporary American culture and civilization.
