The offer of the Faculty of Letters, University of Craiova for the academic year 2020-2021 is structured so as to respond to the multiple requirements of the high school graduates in Oltenia and across the country.
Our faculty has a highly trained teaching staff, able to meet the demands of a modern education, folded on the needs of the market and on the formation of excellent quality graduates.
The study programmes offered are consistent with the current requirements of pan-European compatibilities with similar forms of education. The Faculty of Letters has 28 partners in Europe in the Socrates-Erasmus Programme, co-financed by PHARE, offering dozens of scholarships for a semester or a whole academic year in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Greece, Sweden.
Students have the opportunity to attend free summer courses in Bulgaria and Macedonia.
Students are also trained to sync with the European stock market, the diplomas awarded by the Faculty of Letters contributing directly to a simpler insertion in the integrated society represented by the European Union.
The access to the West is also accentuated by the teachers’ mobilities at the Faculty of Letters, most of them having perfected training courses and documentation abroad, where they also taught at modern standards.
Our faculty has 11 student scientific circles, which are designed to shape and optimize research skills in the most diverse areas: Romanian Language and Literature, Foreign Languages and Literatures, Communication and Media Discourse, Stylistics, Poetic.
